We went to Aiden's 2 week checkup today. He's doing good, the dr looked at his bleeding belly button and said its ok. Just to keep an eye on his temperature. He now weighs 6lbs 11oz. An oz less then his birth weight, but his getting back up there. He was only 6lbs 4oz when he left the hospital, so he's slowly putting weight back on.
As for his sleeping scheldule, still getting use to it. Still getting use to his crys. So things around here are still hetic. Today only dishes and some laundry got done, we're so tired today. Vance had a midshift last night, so he's in bed early to catch up on no sleep for the last 24hrs. I'm heading that way after Aiden gets his bath and feeds again in a little bit. I'm very tired, and can't stop yawning. Trying not to fall asleep as I type this. My eyelids are so heavy though.
I went to the ob clinic before Aiden's apt today. They glued the right side shut, where my stitches had open. So hopefully I'll be fine til everything heals. She first checked for infection, and there was none. The q-tip she use to dig inside of me hurt like hell though. I couldn't help but tear up while she was chacking for pus and cleaning it out. No infection though, just red, swollen, tender skin now. It hurts to walk at the moment since she cleaned it out. But I'm glad its not infected and closed up.
Today was our first outing with all 3 kids. Bryce and Caleb did ok til we got to labs for Aiden. Then Caleb started having a meltdown, he laid on the floor crying from being tired. He's so use to being carried around when we use to go out, that all the walking from the hospital killed his little legs. Bryce did very good, he was such a big boy. So it wasn't bad being at the hospital for a few hrs. Vance some how manage to get all 3 carseats in my little car. There is no room in the backseat at all now, but happy to know they all fit back there. We plan to get a bigger vehicle later on.
Well I'm going to get off here, Aiden is up for his bath and next feeding. Then I'm taking my butt to bed til his next feeding.
