I'm officially on bed rest til August 15 when I go in for my 12wk check up. Still spotting some every now and then through out the day. No cramps, actually starting to enjoy food without wanting to hurl. I lost 4lbs so far through out this pregnancy, doctor didn't seem to concern when I saw him on Thursday. He did another u/s and said the baby was growing on schedule putting my due date still on Feb. 28. Which hopefully time will fly by and it will be time for baby to come out. Even though I've lost 4lbs my jean are getting way to tight, so pretty much laying around in pajama or sweat pants all day. I'm on bed rest so not like people are going to see me. Bryce is not liking it since we don't do much, think he's tired of being stuck in all day. Vance has been working more, some reason he is on night shifts alot lately. So I get lonely at night and wish morning would hurry up and come. I saw pictures of what the labor and delivery floor will look like after all the remodeling is done, it looks really good. It will be done way before I'm due. This hospital is diffrent I have one room for labor and delivery, then another to recover and stay in with baby. At Camden with the boys just stayed in one room the whole time. The ob/gyn clinic in the hospital is huge, I almost got lost when I was trying to find the bathroom. So many hallways and exam rooms. Lots of doctors, maybe it won't be so bad delivering on an Army base. I miss Dr. Di she took care of both my pregnancy in the past and I trust her.
My brother KK left for his first tour in Iraq last Saturday I talked to him for a few minutes while he was on his way to the plane. He was telling me things to send in him care packages, like cigerates and junk food. He said he would email me when he gets a chance with other things he might need through out the time he's there. Still waiting to hear from him and get his address so I can start writing and sending him goodies. He's excited that when he gets home in a year, he'll have enough money for a new truck and will pay it off in cash.
The boys are getting big and seem to be competing for attention lately. All day they fight to sit in my lap or be held. Plus they fight over who gets to play with daddy first when he gets home. Even though he can play with both of them at once they still will fight. Caleb is getting pay back on Bryce now. Bryce use to climb in the crib and wake Caleb from his sleep. Now Caleb is in his own big boy bed and will climb onto Bryce's bed and jump on him. Bryce isn't liking it at all and well cry that Caleb needs to go to bed. Isn't payback fun?
Our lease is up here next March. With new baby on the way, we're thinking of moving into a town house. So there is more room for all the kids. The house will be sold and by then Vance truck will be paid off. We'll have more money a month so will be able to afford something bigger. We're going to trade my lil car in, need to upgrade to a bigger vehicle that can hold 3 car seats. I can't believe this time next yr, our little family will be completed. This is my last pregnancy, so trying to enjoy every minute of it. Even the crappy bed rest and bleeding scares. I'm 9wks today! So time if flying pretty fast, in no time it will be winter. I'll be waddling in the snow like a penguin. Which Vance can't wait to laugh at and pick on me for it. Guess I'll get going, need to get ready for bed.
9wks!
Congratulations! Your amazing growing baby has been accepted into to the fetus-club, a very exclusive and exiting new stage in their prenatal development. Basically, this means the little sweet pea has graduated from swimming embryo creature to a recognizable human being! This week in particular, the irises of their little eyes can function, but (frustratingly for them?) their eyelids remain fused shut for a while yet. Their external ears are formed and their inner ears are now filled with fluid—so your little one is already developing their sense of balance. Your baby's little swimmer legs are still relatively, although other bodily developments are going forward at a nice pace: their kidney is actually functioning now, which means they’ve started urinating (this might seem charming now but wait till you have to start buying diapers!).
