Random things

Just things I read online that made me laugh some. Yes I'm very bored, taking it easy and not being able to do anything is driving me crazy. I like having a break from all the house work, but laying around all day sucks. I see the dr tomorrow for my weekly check up, keeping my fingers cross that I don't get admitted. Trying to hold him in a little longer, well at least til my mom gets here. Plus I would like his furniture to get here first so I can have his room ready for when he comes home. If everything goes well when I get home I'll update everyone on how the apt went.


The toddler property laws remind me of Caleb, in the last week he has started to rebel. Seems to already being going thru the his terrible 2's 4 months early. Potty training woes made me giggle some. Bryce is doing good with his potty training, he went all day today with no accidents. I think he's getting the potty training down, plus it helps that he gets a treat everytime he goes. Still using pull ups at night, not pushing it all at once. Just happy he can wear underwear all day now. :o) Anyways have fun giggling at the stuff below.

Toddler Property Laws

1. If I want it, it's mine.
2. If it's in my hand, it's mine.
3. If I can take it away from you, it's mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
5. If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If we are building something together, all of the pieces are mine.
7. If it looks just like mine, it's mine.
8. If I think it's mine, it's mine.
9. If I give it to you, and change my mind later, it's mine.
10. Once it's mine it will never belong to anyone else, no matter what.

Potty Training Woes

I tell you Gramma, I'm in a mess,
that is why I'm sending this s.o.s.
my mom has started a new campaign-
she thinks I am old enough to train.
and I tell you, Gramma, that all this strife,
is taking the joy plum out of my life.
She won't let me have any peace at all,
and shows no mercy, even when I bawl.
She grabs me up (scares me to death)
and acts afraid to take a deep breath.
and I try to make a quick retreat,
but always end up on that goofy seat.
she brings a cracker for me to nibble,
and sweetly begs for me to "dribble".
so, I comply with her beck and call,
then watch as she wipes up floor and wall
now I really glory in all the loud praise
though I'll never understand in all my born days-
but if it pleases her and makes her glad,
I'll try to be a helpful lad.
but now , Gramma, I must say goodbye
'cause here she comes with that look in her eye!
I'll hide right here and await my fate,
for she doesn't know it, but she's a little late!
